About the role
- provide business partnering support to the Supplier Uplift Programs under AUKUS
- engage with Program Managers, functional leads, and key customers
- support business growth opportunities by implementing financial structures for new contracts
- ensure effective reporting frameworks are in place
- develop, implement and monitor financial decision support systems
- prepare and analyse monthly financial statements
- deliver accurate analysis to senior leadership
- safeguard company assets through strong financial controls
- support audits and ensure compliance with finance rules and procedures
- contribute to pricing assessments, risk management, and improvement of financial processes
- required interstate and overseas travel
Requirements
- proven experience in managing complex financial operations within large corporate environments
- ability to partner with non‑financial managers
- strong technical and numerical skills
- commercial acumen and attention to detail
- experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- thorough understanding of accounting standards, tax requirements, and ERP systems such as SAP or IFS
- CA or CPA status
- background in Defence or similarly complex industries
