About the role
- As the Network Security Engineer, you will have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in a wide range of networking technologies.
- The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the network security baseline and other tasks such as vulnerability management, threat detection and monitoring, incident response and security control implementation.
- Developing and enhance Network and Cyber Security baselines
- Implementing Cyber Security tooling
- Assisting with business-as-usual network configuration
- Performing gap analysis on systems and services
- Maintaining baselines of endpoints and servers
- Working across Linux and Microsoft Technology stacks
Requirements
- An understanding of security architecture required within compartmented certified environments.
- Knowledge of JSP 604, 440 and relevant BS EN standards.
- Experience in a Network Security role.
- Experience of ICT systems in complexed environments.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and cataloguing Configuration Management documentation.
- Experience with Network Security supported by a relevant certificate/ qualification.
- The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
- You may be required to achieve Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance once in post.
