About the role
- Providing engineering support for Class Managed Equipment throughout its lifecycle
- Engaging with OEMs and suppliers to ensure technical integrity
- Reviewing build programme artefacts to identify risks for in-service delivery
- Supporting cost modelling and engineering assurance activities
- Acting as a key engineering point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven mechanical or electrical engineering experience delivering outputs for equipment and systems
- Strong communication skills with experience writing technical reports
- Ability to innovate and solve complex problems
- Self-starter who thrives on responsibility
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
