About the role
- Assist in the maintenance of electrical systems and circuitry
- Report equipment status and restore functionality through defect resolution
- Conduct maintenance of dedicated electrical systems and equipment
- Report on system equipment and condition to ensure stakeholder awareness
- Rectify defects and restore equipment to operational condition
Requirements
- Previous experience as an RN Engineering Technician is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job - you will be required to work onboard ships to carry out maintenance duties on a regular basis.
- Proactive attitude and good communication skills
- Adaptable and flexible across a variety of Marine Maintenance tasks
- IT skills and ability to generate defect reports and populate information into a maintenance management system
- Qualified to ONC, Level 3 NVQ, BTEC, or an equivalent certification in an electrical engineering discipline OR Demonstrable equivalent experience within an engineering environment.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
