Senior Risk Management Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct interviews and map high-complexity business processes with significant impact to Azul;
- Prepare materials and deliver Risk Management training to various levels and areas across Azul to strengthen the organization’s risk culture;
- Prepare the Risk and Control Matrix;
- Calculate Residual Risk based on methodology and align results with management;
- Develop flowcharts;
- Design and execute control tests;
- Propose improvements (action plans) for identified gaps;
- Follow up on implementation deadlines for action plans;
- Test the effectiveness of action plans;
- Prepare reports and executive materials to be presented to Senior Management and the Audit Committee;
- Review working papers prepared by Mid-level and Junior Analysts;
- Apply Risk Management methodology in accordance with COSO and ISO 31000.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of corporate risk methodologies (COSO ERM and ISO 31000);
- Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends;
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all organizational levels;
- English proficiency (a plus);
- Postgraduate degree or courses focused on Audit, Risk, and Internal Controls (a plus);
- International professional certification in ISO 31000 (a plus);
- Experience with Data Analytics tools (Alteryx) (a plus);
- Experience in the civil aviation sector (a plus).
