About the role
- Eliciting key business requirements
- Designing tactical, quick-win / strategic solutions
- Taking part in the development of solutions via new tools, industrialisation/ enhancement of the existing ones, automation of processes, following RAD standards
- Supporting the operations platform (Cobol, Java, VBA)
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with our stakeholders
- Working with an international team across Lausanne, Geneva, Lisbon and Singapore
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- At least 4 years' experience in Banking application development, enhancement and support
- Hands on experience with legacy systems and/or mainframe environments (COBOL)
- Hands on experience in VBA, Python, or similar programming languages or automation tools (e.g. batch scripts, Python automation, Excel/VBA macros)
- Exposure and interest in Private Banking and Wealth Management operations, especially back-office or operational workflows
- Ability to translate business needs into simple, effective technical solutions.
