About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Architect and build robust systems, optimizing performance for speed and reliability.
  • Ensure security and compliance with industry standards, integrating with third-party APIs and payment processing.
  • Work in a domain POD alongside senior engineers, QA specialists, and product partners, delivering full-stack features on .NET Core, React, React Native, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, messaging, Kubernetes (AKS), and Databricks-backed data products.
  • Gain exposure to microservices, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices in a distributed team environment.
  • Implement user stories and features across backend APIs (.NET Core) and frontend components (React), following established coding standards and architectural patterns.
  • Build and maintain .NET Core microservices with RESTful APIs, integrating with messaging systems, and interacting with SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and fixing production issues as part of a 24/7 platform, learning incident response and observability practices.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–6 years of experience with C#/.NET (preferably .NET Core 6+) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Exposure to React fundamentals: components, hooks, state management basics, and TypeScript.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL) and relational database design; any Cosmos DB or NoSQL exposure is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP, Git version control, and basic CI/CD concepts.
  • Understanding of Docker and container basics; introductory knowledge of Kubernetes concepts is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of asynchronous programming, async/await patterns, and message-driven architecture.
  • Growing career as a full-stack engineer with exposure to backend microservices and frontend development.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and distributed teams.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and take on challenging problems with guidance.
  • Strong fundamentals in software design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams across geographies.
