About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the quality, reliability and operational readiness of the CDSClear clearing platform
Design and execute operational user acceptance tests (Ops UAT)
Collaborate with IT teams and business analysts
Continuously improve testing processes
Participate in functional validation and operational readiness throughout the clearing lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-10 years' experience in financial services
Knowledge of clearing services and CCPs
Knowledge of Credit Default Swaps
Experience executing UAT and designing test cases
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (Zephyr, Jira)
Recommended skills: SQL, Python
Proficiency with DTCC, TradeServ, Markitwire, Markit, Tradeweb or Bloomberg platforms
Experience with agile methodologies
Ability to write clear test cases with measurable acceptance criteria
Test execution, defect analysis and reporting skills
Understanding of business specifications
Test environment management
Knowledge of requirements traceability
Understanding of system architecture and clearing workflows
Ability to challenge requirements
Analytical thinking and problem-solving
