About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the growth motion for one brand end to end
Set growth strategy, ship work, measure outcomes, and decide what to build next
Run email and lifecycle marketing, including newsletters, automations, segmentation, and A/B testing
Execute conversion rate optimization across landing pages, sign-up flows, pricing pages, and checkout
Produce content and copy, including blog posts, landing pages, email copy, lead magnets, and social content
Manage the brand’s social presence using platform-native hooks, formats, and pacing
Build marketing automation workflows in n8n, Make, Zapier, or equivalent tools
Review weekly analytics across GA4, email platform reporting, and channel dashboards
Identify what is working, iterate on underperforming initiatives, and bring data-backed ideas to leadership
Work closely with the brand General Manager, product team, support, SEO, and central Awesome Motive growth team

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of growth marketing experience as the only or founding marketer at a B2B SaaS company, or as an operator in a small growth team with full execution ownership
Demonstrated AI-augmented work using specific daily workflows, tools, and outputs
Experience owning an email program at a SaaS company and understanding relevant metrics
Experience running CRO experiments on live pages using real data
Full-stack execution across copy, landing pages, email, campaigns, and analysis
Ability to learn new tools quickly and continuously upgrade skills
Clear, concise written communication for async work with US-based teams
Minimum availability overlap from 9 AM to 1 PM EST; some brands have tighter overlap requirements
Bonus: public proof of AI-augmented work through a newsletter, YouTube channel, X presence, Substack, podcast, or personal site
Bonus: zero-to-one experience building and scaling an audience, brand, community, or product
Bonus: WordPress ecosystem familiarity, including standing up sites and installing plugins
Bonus: demonstrable revenue or growth wins, such as ARR contribution, conversion lift, list growth, audience growth, or revenue-per-send improvements
