Oversee overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific AV systems integration projects.
Ensure projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.
Coordinate all activities associated with timely, accurate, and on-budget completion according to AVI-SPL Project Management process and procedures.
Learn and comply with AVI-SPL Operations Playbook, utilizing approved tools.
Be subject matter expert with contract documents for assigned projects (scopes, bid drawings, specifications, contracts, subcontractor scopes, schedules).
Facilitate internal and external Project Kickoff meetings among Sales, Engineering, Programming, Fabrication & Installation, Customer and Third-Party resources.
Identify and manage project risk, resolve project issues or escalate to management.
Create and manage comprehensive project schedules and coordinate resource scheduling.
Facilitate project material/equipment orders.
Manage project expenditures, identify problem areas, spearhead resolution and communicate profitability issues to management.
Provide and review status/progress reporting internally and externally; raise issues for escalation.
Manage and verify quality of work by internal and/or subcontracted resources.
Raise awareness to management regarding potential claims, back charges, or large costs affecting AVI-SPL financially.
Ensure scope, schedule, cost or change of terms handled per established change order procedures.
Gather and supply Service teams with applicable close-out documentation.
Maintain and develop strong customer relationships to improve perceptions of on-time delivery, quality, communication, responsiveness and problem solving.
Respond to customer communications professionally and timely.
Steer project results to satisfy customer requirements to obtain Net Promoter Score goals.
Travel to various job sites as required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.
Proven project management and team leadership experience.
Demonstrated management of multiple projects using sound time management skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
Effective communication and interaction skills.
Creative problem solving and investigation skills to identify complex problems and generate solutions.
Understanding of all revenue, budget, margin and financial variance factors of assigned projects.
Demonstrated experience managing projects in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of technical, contractual and construction documents.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MSProject schedule software
Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
Comprehension of AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques. (Nice-to-Have)
Formal education in Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related field. (Nice-to-Have)
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. (Nice-to-Have)
