About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary functional escalation point for P2P-related incidents, problems, and change requests
- Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process: Requisition → Purchase Order → Goods Receipt → Invoice Verification → Payment
- Conduct design and configuration reviews for SAP MM P2P processes
- Work with MRP scenarios, including planned order generation, parameters, MRP Controllers, and adjustments to supply proposals
- Work with Special Procurement scenarios, including subcontracting, consignment, stock transfer, and third-party procurement
- Support the integration between SAP MM/MRP and SAP PP, resolving issues related to planned orders, demand, and production planning
- Review root cause analyses and lead the resolution of recurring or high-impact incidents
- Serve as the P2P SME for operations in Brazil, participating in governance meetings, status reporting, and discussions with business and IT stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Brazilian fiscal and tax requirements related to purchasing processes, including NF-e, ICMS, IPI, and PIS/COFINS
- Collaborate with Tax and Compliance teams on matters involving tax impacts
- Identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities to reduce ticket volume and increase operational efficiency
- Mentor and develop L1/L2 professionals
- Review documentation, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base content
- Participate in transition activities, knowledge transfer, and onboarding of new scopes
- Support service improvement plans and SLA metrics
- Participate in month-end closing, audits, and compliance activities related to the purchasing process
- Validate analyses of procurement transactions with fiscal or tax impacts with the Tax/Fiscal/Compliance teams before closure
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience with SAP MM, with strong command of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration
- Advanced knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Experience with Special Procurement: Subcontracting, Consignment, Stock Transfer, and Third-Party Procurement
- Knowledge of the integration between SAP MM/MRP and SAP PP
- Knowledge of Brazilian tax and invoicing processes as applied to purchasing and procurement
- Knowledge of ICMS, IPI, NF-e, and PIS/COFINS
- Experience in AMS / Managed Services environments
- Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar platforms
- Experience managing SLAs, incidents, problems, and changes
- Strong root cause analysis and complex problem-solving skills
- Experience with continuous improvement and process automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM
- Proven experience in AMS/Managed Services environments at Senior or Lead level
- Proven experience supporting operations in Brazil or LATAM
- Experience with Brazilian fiscal and tax requirements related to procurement
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate with international clients and stakeholders
- SAP certification is a plus
- Previous experience leading teams, workstreams, or support functions is a plus
- Experience as an SAP MM P2P Lead / Functional Lead is a plus
- Experience in large corporate environments and critical operations
- Experience in transformation and process improvement projects
- Knowledge of automation applied to AMS processes
- SAP MM/S/4HANA certifications are a plus
