Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and enhance frontend interfaces using Angular and TypeScript
Create, integrate, and consume REST APIs
Work with relational databases and develop SQL queries
Participate in technical analysis, refinement, and development estimations
Fix defects and implement continuous improvements in applications
Participate in code reviews and apply development best practices
Collaborate with Analysts, Architects, QA, and Product Owners
Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development practices
Use AI-based tools and assistants to support development, analysis, documentation, and automation
Identify opportunities to apply AI to increase productivity, quality, and development efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Practical experience in software development
Strong knowledge of Java (versions 8 to 21)
Experience with Spring Boot
Knowledge of Angular 2+ and TypeScript
Experience with components, services, and API integration
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Knowledge of Git and version control
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and development best practices
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms
Knowledge of CI/CD and continuous integration/delivery pipelines
Experience with unit testing and integration testing
Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools
Familiarity with agile methodologies, especially Scrum
Knowledge of generative AI applied to software development
Experience with AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or similar
Basic prompt engineering skills for effective use of AI assistants
Intermediate English (preferred)
Basic knowledge of integrating applications with AI services and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Vertex AI, Azure AI) is a plus
Practical experience with GCP
Experience with modern microservices architectures
Experience with generative AI services
Knowledge of integration with Artificial Intelligence APIs
