About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Quality Assurance and Testing
- Interpret and analyze functional and technical documents (BRD, FSD and TSD).
- Define strategies, test plans and test cases for new projects, enhancements and bug fixes.
- Develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test scripts.
- Create and maintain utilities, simulators, data sets and tools to support testing.
- Perform functional, integration, regression and validation testing.
- Support integrated acceptance testing processes with clients.
- Log, track and validate fixes for identified defects.
- Ensure compliance with established QA standards, processes and methodologies.
- Assess impacts, risks and dependencies and support mitigation strategies.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes, systems and activities.
- Support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document test evidence, results and analyses clearly and objectively.
- Participate in refinement meetings, requirements definition and scope validation.
- Act as a strategic partner to business and technology teams.
- Share technical knowledge and support other team members.
- Autonomously manage the testing activities under your responsibility.
- Prioritize tasks according to criticality and established schedules.
- Support critical projects with advanced technical expertise.
- Mentor and guide professionals working in Mainframe environments when needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Solid experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
- Background in financial sector projects, payment methods or credit card systems.
- Knowledge of Mainframe environments and system integrations.
- Experience designing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.
- Experience with defect management and test tracking tools.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
