About the role

  • Manage and govern cloud environments using AWS and OCI
  • Administer Kubernetes environments, with a focus on OpenShift
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
  • Support test automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
  • Administer Linux servers in critical environments
  • Work with a focus on reliability, performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead mission-critical strategic projects
  • Advanced knowledge of the Linux operating system
  • Experience with API Gateway and message queues/messaging
  • Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
  • Experience with cloud WAF solutions (e.g., Cloudflare)
  • Experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring)
  • Knowledge of FinOps best practices
  • Scripting experience in Shell Script and/or Python
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including best practices (Well-Architected Framework and Landing Zone)
  • Experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, EKS, Route 53, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, and Lambda
  • Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform)
  • Experience working in agile methodologies
  • Collaborative mindset with a sense of ownership
  • Experience with containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and OpenShift.
