About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a technical reference (SME) for modern Quality Assurance practices and test automation
Design, develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright
Ensure efficient coverage of end-to-end (E2E), functional and regression scenarios
Perform API testing and validations using Postman
Develop and execute automated tests to validate system integrations
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Collaborate with developers, Product Owners and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria
Identify, document and track defects through to resolution
Actively participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to the evolution of QA frameworks, processes and tools
Work autonomously in a distributed, global environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with test automation using Playwright
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript applied to automation
Experience building and maintaining test frameworks
Knowledge of automation patterns such as the Page Object Model (POM)
Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation
Knowledge of REST testing and system integrations
Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, builds and releases
Familiarity with source control using Git
Experience with functional, regression and exploratory testing
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience working in agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban)
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Advanced or fluent English required
Knowledge of cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure
Experience with other automation tools such as Cypress or Selenium
Experience with QAOps practices and Shift-Left Testing
ISTQB certification or equivalent
Experience in global projects and complex corporate environments
