About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and coordinate Power BI development teams in local and global environments.
  • Ensure delivery quality through code reviews, development standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and guide solutions using Power BI, DAX, Power Query, the M language, and semantic models.
  • Translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, and high-value KPIs and metrics.
  • Promote governance, component reuse, and sustainability of analytical solutions.
  • Address complex technical challenges and support the continuous development of the team.
  • Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and the M language.
  • Strong experience in dimensional modeling, semantic models, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of governance, security (including Row-Level Security - RLS), and Power BI solution lifecycle management.
  • Experience in technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and coordination of BI and Analytics teams.
  • Advanced English for interaction with global teams and international stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Embedded, and advanced Power BI security features (considered a plus).
  • Knowledge of tools for developing and optimizing tabular models, such as Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and TMDL (considered a plus).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse Analytics, and the Microsoft Analytics ecosystem (considered a plus).
