About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ideate, capture, edit and publish engaging social-first content for LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms
  • Self-produce short-form video, photography, interviews, event coverage, behind-the-scenes content and other social assets
  • Support publishing, scheduling, governance, reporting and performance analysis across owned social channels
  • Maintain content calendars, production plans and publishing schedules
  • Monitor social media performance and audience engagement and optimise content
  • Track social media trends, platform updates, audience behaviours and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with Brand, Corporate Affairs, Investment Relations, Colleagues & Culture, Growth and Engagement Marketing teams
  • Support Brand team initiatives including campaigns, governance, asset development, reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • Apply brand guidelines, tone of voice, accessibility requirements and approval processes
  • Follow relevant risk, compliance, policy, standards, procedure and governance requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media, journalism or a similar discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience ideating, capturing, editing, publishing and reporting on social media content
  • Strong working knowledge of social media management platforms
  • Social-first content creation skills including short-form video, photography, copywriting and platform-ready asset development
  • Confidence using publishing, scheduling and reporting tools
  • Ability to translate performance data into practical content recommendations
  • Strong understanding of social channels, formats, trends, audience behaviours and emerging platform opportunities
  • Ability to apply brand guidelines, tone of voice, accessibility standards and approval processes in a regulated environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work at pace and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive and organised approach to managing content calendars, production workflows, competing priorities and Brand team initiatives
  • Experience in superannuation, financial services or another highly regulated environment is desirable
