About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- perform compliance reviews and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and provide solution‑based feedback to stakeholders
- review materials to ensure compliance with superannuation, financial services, consumer protection, privacy and other legislative and regulatory requirements
- assess both mandatory documentation (e.g. PDSs, IBRs, TMDs, SENs) and discretionary content such as marketing, social media, brochures, and presentations
- adhere to internal business rules and complete relevant compliance checklists
- maintain accurate records and ensure documentation aligns with record‑keeping procedures
- support incident breach assessments and other compliance‑related activities as required
- provide guidance, communication and training to colleagues on Member Domain compliance obligations
- contribute to the development and implementation of systems and processes aligned with evolving legislation and regulatory guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years’ experience in a compliance or similar role
- 3+ years’ experience in superannuation with strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- demonstrated experience reviewing and assessing materials for regulatory compliance
- experience analysing and implementing changes in legislation and regulatory guidance
- strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks
- tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability
- ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in high‑pressure environments
- high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information professionally
- strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building capability across all levels
- knowledge of financial services, privacy and consumer protection laws (desirable)
- experience developing frameworks, policies, or standards (desirable)
- RG146 competency (or willing to obtain) (desirable)
