About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and deliver transformational projects enhancing Manufacturing and Logistics operations nationwide
  • Ensure new equipment and technology are successfully introduced into Manufacturing and Logistics teams
  • Coordinate equipment installation and integrate new infrastructure
  • Align equipment and infrastructure changes with business processes, quality standards and operational needs
  • Develop and manage local schedules for equipment relocation, implementation and integration
  • Work with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and safety
  • Balance priorities according to national and processing centre requirements
  • Support business continuity while improving ways of working
  • Support the Engineering group with process engineering risk analysis and continuous improvement activities
  • Collaborate with team members, stakeholders and contractors to deliver change smoothly and safely

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
  • Eligibility for Engineers Australia membership
  • Experience managing small equipment projects in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience or exposure to equipment commissioning in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical or quality-regulated environment
  • Experience in contractor management and risk assessment
  • Experience in workplace health and safety risk assessment processes for equipment management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective internal networks and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage concurrent workplan activities
  • Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite
