About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Blended work from home/travelling role
  • Travel to preschools within this region
  • 2-4 days per week configuration considered
  • Fixed term to end of December 2026 with possible extension
  • Work as a member of a highly experienced team of 16 preschool inclusion consultants located around NSW.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or above
  • Demonstrated current knowledge of the early childhood sector, including knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
  • Capacity to share inclusive practices and collaboratively plan to address inclusion barriers
  • Significant experience working in early childhood services and including children with disabilities and additional needs
  • Advanced understanding of child development
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning and experience facilitating professional development
  • NSW Employee Working with Children Check
  • Effective oral and written communication skills that enhance a collaborative and capacity building approach in working with preschool educators
  • Ability to facilitate change of practice through the use of critical reflection and a strengths-based approach
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and the ability to respond positively to change within the work environment
  • Demonstrated experience with using standard computer software, such as Microsoft Office
  • Current driver’s licence and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle.
