Education/Inclusion Support Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate the effective inclusion of all children in high quality educational programs in KU services
- Manage the education support needs of KU services
- Ensure equitable outcomes for children
- Assist educators to support children’s development
- Oversee applications for eligible support funding and its implementation
- Support services in the creation of behaviour support plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- A completed degree in early childhood education AND a completed postgraduate in special education or inclusive education. We will consider applicants who are well underway to completing their post graduate qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership/management or Director’s role
- A solid understanding of children’s behaviour and their development
- Knowledge of the early childhood sector, including experience and knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Understanding of the early childhood intervention sector
- Current Employee Working with Children Check
- Comprehensive skills in One Drive, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Experience managing budgets
- A driver’s licence and use of a registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
