About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess and manage acutely poisoned patients in the Austin Emergency Department.
- Manage patients in the ward and ICU environments who have been admitted under the care of the Clinical Toxicology Service.
- Support the Victorian Poisons Centre by managing remote consultations and following up ongoing cases.
- Participate in clinical case reviews, journal club, research activities and guideline writing.
- Contribute to quarterly state case review and M+M meetings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum two-year post-graduate medical experience.
