About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess and manage acutely poisoned patients in the Austin Emergency Department.
Manage patients in the ward and ICU environments who have been admitted under the care of the Clinical Toxicology Service.
Support the Victorian Poisons Centre by managing remote consultations and following up ongoing cases.
Participate in clinical case reviews, journal club, research activities and guideline writing.
Contribute to quarterly state case review and M+M meetings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum two-year post-graduate medical experience.
