About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support mission-critical U.S. Navy communications and navigation programs
Ensure technical solutions meet operational requirements, performance objectives and program milestones throughout the system lifecycle
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for research, engineering development and field operations of command, control, communications and navigation systems
Analyze customer, operational and technical requirements and translate them into system-level requirements and specifications
Support technical reviews including System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and System Acceptance Reviews (SAR)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must possess a Secret level security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or a related technical discipline from an accredited college/university and 3+ years of systems engineering experience supporting complex technical programs
Ability to analyze requirements and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to develop, read, interpret and apply technical documentation
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
