About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for the program
Execute Risk Management Framework (RMF) process through all phases of RMF process
Categorization of the system
Development of System Security Plan (SSP)
Development of Security Assessment Plan (SAP)
Documentation of NIST 800-53 Security Control implementation
Development of Security Program Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Work with all program ISSMs and external stakeholders
Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and compliance issues
Incorporate findings into the system POA&M
Work with the ISSM to answer data calls and TASKORDS/OPORDS
Provide status updates to the ISSM for RMF authorization status for various RMF packages
Track and identify cybersecurity risks and report to ISSM, cyber leads and engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Secret clearance required
DoD 8140.03 IAT II certification required
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from an accredited college/university
Eight years plus in the cybersecurity field required or equivalent combination of work experience and education
DoD RMF experience in the ISSE role in eMASS
Developing/updating RMF SSPs
Documenting NIST 800-53 security control implementations
Development of SAPs
Development of Security POA&Ms
Development of Risk Assessment Reports (RARs)
Experience using eMASS
Experience reviewing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)/ Security Requirements Guide (SRGs)
Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) results
Good knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity policies and procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
