About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for the program
  • Execute Risk Management Framework (RMF) process through all phases of RMF process
  • Categorization of the system
  • Development of System Security Plan (SSP)
  • Development of Security Assessment Plan (SAP)
  • Documentation of NIST 800-53 Security Control implementation
  • Development of Security Program Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Work with all program ISSMs and external stakeholders
  • Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and compliance issues
  • Incorporate findings into the system POA&M
  • Work with the ISSM to answer data calls and TASKORDS/OPORDS
  • Provide status updates to the ISSM for RMF authorization status for various RMF packages
  • Track and identify cybersecurity risks and report to ISSM, cyber leads and engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • DoD 8140.03 IAT II certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from an accredited college/university
  • Eight years plus in the cybersecurity field required or equivalent combination of work experience and education
  • DoD RMF experience in the ISSE role in eMASS
  • Developing/updating RMF SSPs
  • Documenting NIST 800-53 security control implementations
  • Development of SAPs
  • Development of Security POA&Ms
  • Development of Risk Assessment Reports (RARs)
  • Experience using eMASS
  • Experience reviewing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)/ Security Requirements Guide (SRGs)
  • Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) results
  • Good knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
