About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and delivery of airport electrical infrastructure projects
- Deliver Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) designs, including runway, taxiway, approach lighting and apron floodlighting systems
- Develop feasibility studies, concept designs and detailed design documentation
- Provide technical leadership across complex airport projects
- Review engineering calculations, specifications and technical documentation
- Ensure designs comply with MOS Part 139, ICAO Annex 14 and relevant Australian Standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary airport planning and engineering teams
- Support and mentor developing engineers
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to future project opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) design
- Strong understanding of airport electrical infrastructure and airside systems
- Experience with high voltage, low voltage, CCR and control systems design
- Knowledge of MOS Part 139, ICAO standards and airport compliance requirements
- Experience delivering projects within a consulting, contractor, airport or aviation environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for technical excellence and mentoring others
