About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and deliver Transport Impact Assessments for complex development and infrastructure projects
Contribute to strategic transport planning, active transport, and multimodal access studies
Support or manage projects end-to-end, including scope, programme, budget, and risk
Engage directly with clients, approval authorities, and stakeholders
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Aurecon
Contribute to winning work and growing trusted client relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

A relevant tertiary qualification with 5–10 years’ experience in transport planning/ traffic engineering
Strong experience preparing and reviewing Transport Impact Assessments
Sound technical judgement and confidence working with data, modelling outputs, and policy frameworks
Experience supporting or leading project delivery
Clear written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring others
