About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and deliver Transport Impact Assessments for complex development and infrastructure projects
  • Contribute to strategic transport planning, active transport, and multimodal access studies
  • Support or manage projects end-to-end, including scope, programme, budget, and risk
  • Engage directly with clients, approval authorities, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Aurecon
  • Contribute to winning work and growing trusted client relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A relevant tertiary qualification with 5–10 years’ experience in transport planning/ traffic engineering
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing Transport Impact Assessments
  • Sound technical judgement and confidence working with data, modelling outputs, and policy frameworks
  • Experience supporting or leading project delivery
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring others
