About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver engineering excellence on-site
- Ensure that construction activities align with design intent, quality standards, and project timelines
- Provide engineering solutions to site issues and coordinating with discipline leads
- Oversee site activities and offer technical advice on construction and design matters
- Review technical submissions and contractor drawings in consultation with project leads
- Ensure compliance of works with approved drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and the supply chain to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor daily construction activities and conduct regular site inspections
- Verify materials delivered to site meet specifications and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress
- Attend project meetings and coordinate inspections with stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 10 years of experience in civil and structural supervision
- Strong knowledge of data centre construction, precast structures, structural steel, and local construction practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM is preferred
- A relevant degree from a recognized university and registration as a Resident Engineer with BEM
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
