Student Geological Consultant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- support geological investigations and fieldwork on infrastructure projects
- contribute to geological mapping, ground model development, and interpretation of subsurface conditions
- work alongside engineers, geologists, and project teams to help inform infrastructure design and delivery
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Asia Pacific

Requirements
What you’ll need- currently studying a Bachelor or Master of Science majoring in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
- an interest in understanding transport infrastructure and how geological conditions influence infrastructure projects
- a current license to be able to drive in New Zealand
- available for 12 weeks full-time work from mid-November 2026 to February 2027 (with a two-week break over Christmas and New Year)
- curiosity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
