About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive project brief from Project Manager and understand project requirements, certification targets, project schedule, budget, and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with the global sustainability team to establish certification strategy, work plans, deliverables, and submission schedules.
  • Act as the primary local point of contact for sustainability certification matters (e.g. LEED, TREES, Green Mark) throughout the project lifecycle, from design development through construction completion.
  • Facilitate coordination between client, design consultants, contractors, commissioning agents, and sustainability specialists to support certification requirements.
  • Track achievable credits, submission status, action items, and projects risks to ensure certification milestones are achieved.
  • Collect, review, and organize supporting documentation from project stakeholders for certification submissions.
  • Coordinate preparation and submission of documentation through certification platforms.
  • Review and respond to comments, requests for clarification, and technical queries from certification reviewers in coordination with the global sustainability team.
  • Prepare project sustainability reports, certification scorecards, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
  • Identify potential certification risks and proactively escalate issues requiring technical input from the global sustainability team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Building Services, or other related disciplines.
  • 3-8 years of experience in building design, project coordination, sustainability consulting, or construction project management.
  • Experienced in sustainability rating systems (e.g. LEED, TREES, Green Mark) certification projects preferred.
  • Experienced in mission critical facilities or data center projects would be advantageous.
  • Experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and contractors.
  • LEED AP accredited is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles, energy efficiency, water efficiency, commissioning, and construction documentation.
  • Understanding of design and construction project workflows.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and consultant deliverables.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and certification reviewers.
  • Ability to identify issues, ask the right technical questions, and coordinate resolution with subject matter experts.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
