About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with our key clients across multi-disciplinary teams, supporting project development for critical water & wastewater infrastructure investments and strategies.
  • Deliver integrated water servicing strategies and plans for new development precincts and sustaining capital assets.
  • Deliver valued water and wastewater planning solutions in response to key drivers including growth servicing, asset renewals, asset reliability, system resilience, regulatory compliance, sustainability and liveability.
  • Consider and assess whole-of-lifecycle costs and associated risks and benefits in system plans, including comprehensive analysis of potential infrastructure investment opportunities, assessing their viability via master planning, business case frameworks, and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, to bring together our design, engineering and advisory capabilities in the delivery of seamless client experiences.
  • Contribute to business development including connecting with clients, identifying opportunities and supporting pursuits.
  • Support junior members of the water team in the development of their asset management and planning skills.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-10 years of industry experience, preferably in business case development, management consulting or engineering.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Asset Management, Engineering, Project Management, business, economics or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in water and wastewater planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset management frameworks, approaches and methodologies.
  • An aptitude for strategic thinking and solving complex challenges.
  • Experience with adaptive planning frameworks and approaches (not essential).
