About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will be primarily engaged to delivery safety and risk engineering solutions to our diverse range of projects including Renewables, Datacentres, Defence, Oil and Gas and mining
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding and knowledge of technical risk issues, applying process safety skills
- Support a local team and provide technical direction and guidance to less experienced staff, coaching them to develop their competency
- Work with our global capability to identify opportunities for clients to uplift process safety
Requirements
What you’ll need- Understanding of Legislation, Regulations and Standards and regulatory approval pathways.
- Technical competency in chemical or mechanical engineering to apply creative solutions to complex problems across all infrastructure industries
- Delivery of elements of safety management systems and safety cases
- Workshop facilitation or scribing through understanding and application of hazard identification and analysis methods
- Understanding and application of qualitative and quantitative risk-based studies
- Ability to perform systems safety assurance consulting activities in alignment to systems safety assurance requirements.
