About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage diverse solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout development and delivery
- Lead or contribute to owner's engineering, due diligence, lenders technical advisory
- Take ownership of projects post-onboarding, ensuring client satisfaction
- Demonstrate strong management and communication skills while collaborating with clients and internal specialists
- Develop strong relationships with both clients and internal specialists to deliver successful project outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ideally a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the power industry
- 3 years of experience in the commercial or utility-scale solar PV sector
- Strong understanding of the project development and delivery lifecycle
- Experience with grid connection of generation plants
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred, with other engineering disciplines considered
- Familiarity with industry tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVcase, Rated Power, or SAM by NREL
- Extensive familiarity with Microsoft environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint
- Familiarity with CRM/ERM platforms like MS Dynamics is an advantage
- Valid Class 1 New Zealand driver's license and full flexibility to travel
