About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage diverse solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout development and delivery
Lead or contribute to owner's engineering, due diligence, lenders technical advisory
Take ownership of projects post-onboarding, ensuring client satisfaction
Demonstrate strong management and communication skills while collaborating with clients and internal specialists
Develop strong relationships with both clients and internal specialists to deliver successful project outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ideally a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the power industry
3 years of experience in the commercial or utility-scale solar PV sector
Strong understanding of the project development and delivery lifecycle
Experience with grid connection of generation plants
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred, with other engineering disciplines considered
Familiarity with industry tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVcase, Rated Power, or SAM by NREL
Extensive familiarity with Microsoft environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint
Familiarity with CRM/ERM platforms like MS Dynamics is an advantage
Valid Class 1 New Zealand driver's license and full flexibility to travel
