About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage diverse solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout development and delivery
  • Lead or contribute to owner's engineering, due diligence, lenders technical advisory
  • Take ownership of projects post-onboarding, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Demonstrate strong management and communication skills while collaborating with clients and internal specialists
  • Develop strong relationships with both clients and internal specialists to deliver successful project outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideally a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the power industry
  • 3 years of experience in the commercial or utility-scale solar PV sector
  • Strong understanding of the project development and delivery lifecycle
  • Experience with grid connection of generation plants
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred, with other engineering disciplines considered
  • Familiarity with industry tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVcase, Rated Power, or SAM by NREL
  • Extensive familiarity with Microsoft environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERM platforms like MS Dynamics is an advantage
  • Valid Class 1 New Zealand driver's license and full flexibility to travel
