About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Use your experience in applying Commonwealth and Western Australian environmental approvals legislation to prepare referral/approvals documents
Have input into preparing fee proposals and tender submissions, assessing and reporting on technical documentation, leading multi-disciplinary project teams, managing sub-consultants, and delivery of projects
Interact with internal and external clients, proactively maintain client relationships and business development opportunities
Provide direction and senior oversight to the Environmental Approvals team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, or similar (including ecology)
Experience in managing and coordinating the process of obtaining necessary permits and approvals from government agencies for projects, including environmental assessments, and other regulatory requirements
Extensive experience in consulting and project management
Experience in liaising with internal teams, external stakeholders, and government officials
Demonstrated team leadership, development and growth
Understanding of resources, energy projects and industrial activities would be beneficial
