About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of concurrent sustaining capital projects
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept development through to execution and close-out
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, coordinating specialists and subconsultants to deliver high-impact results
- Deliver projects from concept through to handover, managing scope, risk, financials, and reporting
- Manage change, quality, health, safety and risk elements throughout project lifecycles
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth and success of the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience delivering sustaining capital or brownfield design projects within mining or heavy industry
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering design teams and a strong understanding of brownfield constraints, constructability, and integration with existing assets
- Strong project management capability across scope, schedule, cost, and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering – mechanical or related fields
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience delivering engineering‑led projects, with a focus on sustaining capital and brownfields works across industrial, resources, or infrastructure sectors
