About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the design and delivery of road and highway projects, from concept through to detailed design and construction support
- Prepare and review technical outputs including alignments, earthworks, drainage and pavement design in line with client standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated and practical infrastructure solutions
- Support project delivery by managing tasks, coordinating inputs, and meeting program and budget requirements
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and support the successful delivery of projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- A relevant engineering degree, with experience in roads & highways design
- Familiarity with relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. TMR, Austroads), and an ability to apply them in a practical context
- Experience contributing to design outputs such as alignments, earthworks, drainage and pavements
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical, well-considered solutions
- Effective communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and project teams
- A willingness to work towards CPEng and RPEQ registration, with support provided
