Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and contribute to civil design tasks across general civil, drainage, earthworks, utilities, alignment and related structural interface works
Develop practical and well considered design solutions that respond to client requirements
Prepare and review drawings, calculations, design reports, technical notes and design documentation
Use digital workflows, design tools and AI enabled practices to improve design efficiency
Support junior engineers and designers through clear direction, technical guidance and review
Work collaboratively across local, national and global teams to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Approximately 6 or more years’ experience in civil infrastructure design
3D Design Software experience
Strong all round civil engineering capability across general civil, structural coordination, drainage, earthworks and alignment design
Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and coordinating inputs from designers, engineers, reviewers and external stakeholders
Practical understanding of design standards, authority requirements and infrastructure delivery constraints.
