Key responsibilities & impact

  • Perform high voltage electrical calculations and studies.
  • Develop skills working in industry recognised Transmission and Distribution system modelling software.
  • Collaborate with and learn from industry leading engineers in Transmission and Distribution.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field with strong focus on electrical physics, magnetism, power transmission, and HV systems).
  • Strong passion for Power Transmission & Distributions, renewable energy, and transmission/distribution networks.
  • Strong academic grounding in the physics of electricity (e.g., electromagnetics, circuits, transmission lines, transformers).
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Graduate of a university program with specialization in Power Transmission & Distributions (Good to Have).
  • Internship, thesis, or project experience in renewable energy, HV systems, or transmission/distribution design (Good to Have).
  • Exposure to civil or structural aspects of transmission projects with a strong interest in electrical engineering (Good to Have).
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks or renewable integration studies (Good to Have).
  • Familiarity with tools such as PSCAD and PSSE (Good to Have).
