About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Undertake concept and detailed design of large scale HV infrastructure including; substations, BESS, solar and wind projects.
- Develop detailed civil engineering designs, reports, technical specifications and relevant documentation.
- Opportunity to work in civil design models (e.g Civil3D/12D).
- Required to develop knowledge of relevant industry/client standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Assist advancement of digital engineering and digital innovation skills within the team.
- Opportunity to provide innovation and creativity to increase digital efficiencies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- From or interested in renewable energy, infrastructure – Fresh Graduates are welcome
- Ability to work seamlessly within a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross-discipline teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the willingness and ability to collaborate and develop team capabilities.
- Existing modelling, calculations and design in civil engineering
- Previous experience working within energy projects eg; substations, BESS, solar and wind projects is a plus but not required
- Design experience within the energy (power utility) sector and focus on bulk earthworks, roads and drainage.
- Previous experience working on windfarm, BESS, Substation, Transmission and Distribution projects will be highly favourable, especially within NSW.
- Civil modelling and relevant design software
