About the role

  • Develop façade engineering designs, including schematic design, performance strategies, and technical specifications
  • Collaborate closely with architects, building services engineers, and structural teams to develop integrated design outcomes
  • Contribute to early-stage façade design thinking, including material selection, performance intent, thermal and environmental considerations
  • Support design reviews, options analysis, and technical input across a range of building typologies
  • See projects through construction delivery to completion via design review and site inspections
  • Apply façade engineering principles to deliver sustainable, buildable, and high-performing building envelopes
  • Work within Aurecon’s multidisciplinary project teams, learning from senior technical leaders and specialists

Requirements

  • 3–7 years’ experience in façade engineering, ideally within a consulting environment
  • Strong understanding of front-end / design-stage façade engineering, rather than shop drawing detailing
  • Experience working collaboratively with architects and design teams
  • Familiarity with common façade engineering tools and workflows
  • Experience and expertise in digital workflows a strong benefit
  • Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is required
