About the role

  • Perform geotechnical analysis and design of geotechnical related aspect such as foundations, retaining structures, slopes, ground improvement works, etc.
  • Interpret soil investigation data, including bore logs, laboratory test results, and in-situ testing
  • Prepare geotechnical design reports, calculations, and technical specifications
  • Provide input to project planning, risk assessment, soil investigation scopes and construction methodology
  • Review and supervise site investigation works and geotechnical testing programs
  • Support construction activities, including site supervision and troubleshooting geotechnical issues, able to do site visits in a remote area if required by the Company
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local (SNI) and international standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with structural, civil, and other engineering disciplines
  • Support project manager in performing other project related works

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering
  • 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground behavior
  • Experience with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, LPile, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Indonesian standards (SNI) and international codes (e.g., Eurocode, AS/NZ, AASHTO)
  • Proven experience in large-scale or complex infrastructure, building, or industrial projects
  • Good report writing and technical documentation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
