About the role
- Undertake concept and detailed design of large scale HV infrastructure including substations, BESS, solar and wind projects
- Develop detailed civil engineering designs, reports, technical specifications and relevant documentation
- Work in civil design models (eg Civil3D/12D)
- Develop knowledge of relevant industry/client standards, guidelines and regulations
- Assist advancement of digital engineering and digital innovation skills within the team
- Provide innovation and creativity to increase digital efficiencies
Requirements
- Previous experience working within energy projects (essential requirement)
- Minimum Australian recognised Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Design experience within the energy (power utility) sector (Minimum 1+ years) with a focus on bulk earthworks, roads, and drainage
- Previous experience working on windfarm, BESS, Substation, Transmission and Distribution projects is highly favourable
- Civil modelling and relevant design software
- Ability to work seamlessly within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
