About the role

  • Supporting a diverse, high-performing team – you will have the opportunity to support and guide our design teams, sharing your knowledge on the intricate electrical elements of transmission line design as we push the boundaries of what's possible in Transmission network design.
  • Tackle complex problems – In this role, you will collaborate closely with our clients to tackle some of the most complex transmission line challenges, helping to find innovative solutions.
  • Driving excellence in Transmission Line Design – oversee the use of industry-standard tools and analysis processes while coaching the team to build capability and confidence.
  • Empowering energy transformation – work with purpose alongside clients and colleagues to deliver projects that contribute to a cleaner, more reliable and more equitable energy future.
  • Collaborating across disciplines – partner with engineering, commercial, digital, advisory and environmental teams to co-create solutions to complex integrated project needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in Transmission Line Design – you may have 5+ years in consulting or utilities, an Electrical Engineering Degree and you will have or working towards CPEng and/or RPEQ (preferred).
  • Strong capability in Transmission Line modelling – experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Tower.
  • A collaborative and supportive leadership style – you engage confidently with clients and colleagues, value diverse perspectives, and create environments where people do their best work.
