About the role
- Overseeing the electrical aspects of construction projects
- Ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Providing engineering solutions to site issues
- Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Monitoring electrical installation works
- Coordinating inspections and testing of electrical systems
- Ensuring quality control and safety compliance on-site
- Collaborating with contractors to resolve technical issues
- Verifying materials and equipment delivered to site
- Maintaining accurate site records and reports
- Attending project meetings and supporting commissioning activities.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Registration as a Resident Engineer with BEM
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical supervision
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in data centres and power distribution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and BIM knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
