About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Teach at multiple Savannah Technical College campus locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Diploma in Welding from an accredited community college or technical school preferred
  • Three (3) years of welding work experience within the past seven (7) years
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Current American Welding Society Certification strongly preferred
  • Teaching experience at a postsecondary institution strongly desired
  • Underwater welding experience/certification preferred
  • Must be able to work evening hours
  • Must be able to work at multiple Savannah Technical College campus locations in Savannah/Chatham, Liberty and Effingham Counties
  • Candidates must pass a criminal background check

  • Applicants must include annual salary for each position held
  • Male applicants aged 18–26 must present proof of Selective Service Registration
