About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement activities, programs, and services supporting student and institutional growth
- Create meaningful learning opportunities
- Foster student engagement through collaboration with peers, faculty, staff, and community partners
- Advise the student advisory council
- Assist faculty and staff advisors with developing and organizing co-curricular and extracurricular student organizations and honor societies
- Provide guidance on activities sponsored by student organizations
- Monitor budgets for student activities and the student advisory council
- Lead development in student activities, engagement, leadership, and service
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in educational leadership, vocational administration, counseling, or a closely related field
- Two years’ experience in a secondary, postsecondary, or higher education environment
- Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
- Preferred: five years’ experience in a secondary, postsecondary, or higher education environment
- Preferred: experience with student organizations, student government, student ambassadors, and event planning
- Preferred: experience managing complex budgets
- Preferred: knowledge of TCSG system initiatives and recruitment
- Cover letter, resume/vita, three professional references, and unofficial transcripts required for application
- Official transcripts required upon an offer of employment
- Successful completion of appropriate background checks required
