About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the structuring and placement of reinsurance programmes.
Analyse client portfolios to inform pricing, structuring, and strategic recommendations.
Prepare clear, concise, and high-quality analytical materials for client discussions.
Collaborate with brokers, clients, and reinsurers to execute transactions.
Provide insights on portfolio performance and support ongoing client advisory work.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of actuarial models and analytical tools.
Manage, mentor, and develop junior analysts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years’ experience in actuarial or related analytical roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar) desirable.
Understanding of reinsurance structures, pricing, and capital management is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is a plus.
