About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary on-site producer/engineer for 92.3 The Fan sports play-by-play and remote talk show broadcasts
- Maintain remote studio operations throughout programming
- Aid content-gathering efforts before, during, and after broadcasts
- Operate in-studio operations and production when not participating in remote broadcasts
- Travel to broadcast locations, including weekends
- Carry broadcast equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of basic remote broadcasting equipment
- Wireless microphone operation
- Audio editing ability within single- and multi-track sessions
- Familiarity with on-air studio operations
- Excellent time management in deadline-driven situations
- Flexibility to work different shifts
- Ability to work on location and travel for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check
- Proof of insurance if using the applicant's own vehicle
- Experience with Adobe Audition or similar programs preferred
- Preferred two seasons of remote broadcast experience in a sport setting and studio board operations
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds of equipment
