About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Import and reconcile bank transactions
Import and reconcile cash accounts
Reconcile balance sheet accounts under your responsibility
Prepare monthly asset depreciation
Maintain the asset movement register
Assist independent auditors
Prepare and structure audit working papers
Knowledge of CPC and IFRS
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, from the 7th semester onwards
Experience with the Senior system is a plus
Advanced Excel
Experience supporting Big Five audits
Prior experience in transportation companies is a plus
Strong understanding of debits and credits
Understanding of chart of accounts, cost centers and correct accounting classification of expenses and revenues
Basic to intermediate account reconciliations (e.g., banks, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, basic fixed assets)
Understanding of withholding taxes (IRRF, PCC, ISS) and taxes on sales/purchases (ICMS, PIS/COFINS) to validate invoices and accounting entries
Knowledge of IFRS / BR GAAP
Familiarity with the fundamental concepts of CPC 00 (Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting) and their purpose
Organize evidence and samples (PBC - Provided by Client)
Communicate with other departments about matters that impact accounting routines
