About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Development of sophisticated process solutions for banking operations in coordination with the Product Owner, Business Analyst and system architects
Development and maintenance of frontend and backend components
Collaboration with domain experts and other developers in an agile, cross-functional team
Ensuring work quality through automated tests, code reviews, continuous integration and unit tests
Performing bug fixing, maintenance and last-level (L3) support
Promoting clean code and modular development
Use of modern development tools such as code assistants and AI support
Sharing knowledge within the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in (business) computer science or training as an application developer (Fachinformatiker/in Anwendungsentwicklung) with several years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable qualification
Good knowledge of and practical experience in fullstack development
Familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, CSS, Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST, JSON, Git, Maven and Hibernate
Experience with frontend applications and microservices
Experience with DevSecOps practices as well as container and cloud platforms, e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift, Helm and GitLab
Ideally experience with developing or operating applications in Google Cloud
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL as well as messaging/integration solutions such as Kafka is a plus
Fluent German skills (at least C1 level)
Good English skills (B2 level)
Team-oriented, independent and quality-focused working style
Motivation for continuous professional development
Prior experience with agile development and AI-assisted development is advantageous
