About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You advise our clients on cyberattacks, analyze related incidents and develop effective countermeasures.
  • You act as a point of contact for our clients and support them through critical situations.
  • You support banks with regulatory requirements and help them meet the specifications in the areas of information security and business continuity.
  • You independently plan and conduct crisis management team exercises to strengthen our clients' responsiveness and resilience.
  • You identify critical business processes, assess their protection needs and derive appropriate measures.
  • Nationwide project assignments are part of your responsibilities, and multi-day travel of approximately 100–130 days per year is to be expected.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You hold a degree in (business) computer science and have many years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity (more than 6 years) or an equivalent qualification, as well as experience in leading cross-functional (sub)projects.
  • You have solid knowledge in information security, incident response and business continuity management.
  • You have experience analyzing and managing cyberattacks, working with common security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz) and conducting protection-needs and business impact analyses.
  • Your knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially for the financial sector (e.g., MaRisk, DORA), completes your profile.
  • You possess business-fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (B2).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, a solution-oriented approach and a high degree of entrepreneurial thinking and action characterize you.
